A capitalist will seek to lower his labor costs, which means he will collude with his competition in order to keep the costs of labor low for all the capitalists. This is why unions became necessary. Wrong, by your definition, capitalists are immoral. Only acts performed in self-interest can be immoral. However, some acts of self-interest can have a moral consequence, but if the intent of the act was selfish, then it cannot be considered moral. Wrong - capitalism has nothing to do with tyrannical warlords. All tyrannical warlords are, by definition, capitalists, seeking they are only acting in their own self-interest. Wrong, capitalists, by definition, do not care about their customers - they only care about themselves. A by-product of their actions is that they may appear to care about their customers, but that only occurs when the capitalist is face-to-face with his customer every day. Most capitalists never see any of their customers. Why don't the capitalists care about lead in children's toys or contaminated heparin causing their customers to die? As long as the capitalists can get away with it and blame the problem on others, they don't care if the buyers of their products die. Right - governments are greedy and self-serving too. But a capitalist should want that - doesn't a capitalist want everyone to behave like capitalists?
